Private Italy Tour, 10 Days

The challenge

A family office booked a private 10-day Italian tour for 18 guests ranging from a toddler to grandparents in their 80s. Eight hotels, 4 cities, 9 driving days. Luggage volume was substantial, since some travelled with golf clubs and formal wear. Meal-timing around the toddler had to be predictable. The family wanted the SAME vehicle and SAME driver for the entire tour for continuity and trust.

Our solution

We dedicated a 24-seat premium touring coach with full leather, reclining seats, panoramic windows, and a separate luggage compartment. The driver, fluent in English and Italian, had driven private family tours for 12 years. A route planner pre-cleared parking at every hotel and restaurant and handled valet drop-offs. A second "shadow" driver travelled on standby to cover for the lead driver's mandated rest hours without disrupting continuity.

The result

The same family has since booked two further tours with the same driver, one in France and one in the UK. They referred three other family offices to us. This segment now accounts for a growing share of our private hire business.

How we ran it

   One coach, one driver

   A 24-seat premium coach and the same English- and Italian-speaking driver for all ten days, which was the family's first condition.

   A separate compartment sized for golf clubs and formal wear, so nothing travelled in the aisle.

   A route planner arranged access at every hotel and restaurant in advance, including valet drop-offs.
