Double-Decker Setra, Tuscany Wedding

The challenge

A wedding planner needed to move 72 guests from Florence airport to a hilltop vineyard in Chianti, then back to their hotels after midnight. The guests were arriving from 8 countries on different flights. Splitting the group across several smaller coaches would have meant 2–3 separate transfers, mismatched arrival times at the venue, and a logistics headache for the planner. The couple wanted everyone to arrive together, as one wedding party, not in waves.

Our solution

We put on a single double-decker Setra coach. That is 75 seats across two floors, with room for the full party plus luggage. Champagne and chilled water were waiting on the upper deck. The driver wore black tie for the ceremony transfer. Because the whole group rode together, the planner only had to coordinate one pickup window at Florence airport and one departure from the vineyard. Our fleet of double-decker Setras lets us run weddings of this size anywhere in Europe, and we ship coaches further when clients need us worldwide.

The result

All 72 guests arrived at the ceremony together, on time, in one coach. The planner called it the simplest wedding logistics she had ever run. She has since booked our double-deckers for two more international weddings, one in Provence and one in Mallorca.

How we ran it
